Purpose of Men's Blog and Resources

When my wife and I first began the healing process from my sexual sin we had no where to turn. We knew absolutely squat. I suppose you could do a Google search for sexual sin recover, but you could hours just investigating each site or article.

I have also noticed that most women who contact us have husbands who are completely clueless to the devastation of their sin, the consequences of it, and exactly how much their wife is hurting. Most men need a swift kick to the rear in the very beginning, so I am polishing up my kicking boots....

Our hope at Isaiah 53 Ministry is to make a collaborative resource guide for men and women to work towards their healing. There is much more stuff out there than when we started our healing process, which is both a good thing and bad thing. It's a good thing because people are starting to see the devastating affects of sexual sin. It's a bad thing that sexual sin is so prominent in our lives that we need so many resources. I wish it weren't true. I wish this site didn't exist. But since it does, we hope to use it to the glory of God.

This will not at all be a comprehensive list of books, articles or resources. It will be a few that I have used personally, some I have read about, and some from respected authors, bloggers and thinkers in the Christian world. I cannot take responsibility for every thing a writer or ministry may say or believe, simply because I cannot thoroughly check every single issue of debate. That being said, take the good and leave the bad.
