Jesus came to pardon our sins. But He also came to heal the brokenhearted so we can walk in freedom.

Freedom from pain, guilt, shame, sin, and condemnation. By His wounds we are healed.

May God continue to bless us on the path to complete restoration and healing in Him.

The Inevitability of Relapse

Posted by Kristina Croft on Friday, November 18, 2011,

Is relapse inevitable? This question plagued my mind when my husband first confessed to his addiction to pornography. At first it was an obsessive fear, “He is going to fall again, but when? And how can I keep it from happening?” Gradually, with time, it has faded to a lesser anxiety concerning the “what if” of relapse. Recently, I talked with other women concerning addiction relapse and today while researching online I found something alarming. It was an article that stated relapse w...

Press On

Posted by Kristina Croft on Thursday, November 17, 2011,

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”(Philippians 3:12-14, NKJV).

Sweetly Broken

Posted by Kristina Croft on Tuesday, November 15, 2011,

It was very late as were driving home from an out-of-state trip. Both exhausted, we were desperately trying to keep each other awake. It was 3:30am and I was awakened by sharp cramps in my lower abdomen and back. Being on 23 weeks pregnant with our twins, this was a great concern. Hoping they would subside, I just sat in my bed asking God to keep the babies in my womb, to not allow them to be born this early. The cramps continued. For 2 hours. Finally my husband decided that we needed to go to the emergency room. We checked in at 6am and I was monitored for contractions. The baby’s heart beats sounded good, they did not s...

Time Traveling

Posted by Kristina Croft on Thursday, November 3, 2011,

It was supposed to be a special day. A day to remember. The day we found out if our twins are boys or girls. Everything was going well until we got home and all hell broke loose. The enemy was on attack and we were not prepared for what was about to take place. Gavin and I began arguing about something that has been a point of disagreement for some time, and things escalated quickly and harshly. We did not speak to each other with love or respond in humility. Rather we chose to do some time t...
